My name is Kelly McCormick, and I bring over 20 years of experience in education to my role as counselor at Central Heights Middle School. I began my career teaching Adaptive Behavior in Special Education before earning a Master of Education in School Counseling from Sam Houston State University. My experience includes serving as Director of Special Programs and supporting learners of all ages, from children to adults. I also spent four years as a counselor with Windham ISD at two maximum-security units within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. These experiences have strengthened my passion for helping others overcome challenges, recognize their potential, and achieve success. At CHMS, I am dedicated to helping every student feel supported, build confidence, and grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
