CHISD offers a step teacher pay scale up to 30 years -click here to view, $1,000 a year for Master’s degree and $500 per month for TRS Active Care Insurance.

Current job postings for the current school year 2025-26

 

  • District Positions: 
     

    Life Skills Bus Monitor (AM & PM Routes) 

    Central Heights ISD is now accepting applications for a Life Skills Bus Monitor to serve on both morning and afternoon routes.

    Position Details:

    • Monitor and assist students in the Life Skills program during transport
    • Ensure the safety and well-being of Life Skills students while on the bus
    • Support the bus driver with student needs and behavior management

    Applications can be submitted using the ‘Non-Teaching Position Application’ and sent to Justin Keeling, Superintendent or Jonathan Saunders, Transportation. 

     

  • High School Positions: 

    Classroom Teacher/Coach

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from accredited university
    • Valid Texas teaching certificate (Preferred)
    • CDL (Preferred)
