CHISD offers a step teacher pay scale up to 30 years -click here to view, $1,000 a year for Master’s degree and $500 per month for TRS Active Care Insurance.

  • Substitute Teachers for all campuses

    Central Heights ISD is looking for qualified substitutes for the 2025-26 school year. The daily rate is $80.00 per day and applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Substitute Teacher Application can be found Substitute Teacher Application and emailed to Wanda Muckleroy. Our next Substitute training session will take place in January 2026.

     

    School Police Officer

    Starting Compensation – commensurate on experience. 192 work day schedule. Must be TCOLE certified and have 5 years of Law Enforcement experience. Advanced Certificate preferred. Great work ethic / willingness to work with others.

    Incentives: Overtime opportunities, family friendly schedule, $500 monthly contribution toward school insurance for employee, equipment provided, working with students K-12.

    Classroom Teacher/Coach
    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from accredited university
    • Valid Texas teaching certificate (Preferred)
    • CDL (Preferred)
